Michelle is an American designer who studied fashion in New York City. She is continuously traveling between Paris and NY.

After her studies went to Paris to fulfill her internship student training at Guy Laroche, under the Direction of Alber Elbaz. Her first position afterwards was as senior designer for the contemporary cult brand Theory NY, which perfected her skills and defined her style. She returned to Paris to design for the French luxury brands; Apostrophe, and Gorges Rech. Simultaneously co-founded Vouelle, a luxury women’s shoe collection made in Italy. Vogue, l’Official and W magazines published her designs, which sold exclusively at Printemps and Galeries Lafayette Paris. She was recruited to be Artistic Director for Promod Boutique Française, a trendy ready-to-wear French brand. Designing the best-selling coat in France, the “Giselle.”

After 20 years in ready-to-wear she created a bespoke couture shirt brand, Micky. Engineered the perfect made-to-measure shirt for women, inspired by mens bespoke quality, details and finishings. And a select limited-edition prét-à-porter collection of unisex shirts and shirt dresses.
Michelle has lived and worked in Paris, Vienna and New York. She currently resides in Paris. Her design philosophy is simplistic, innovative, and always functional. A blend of French chic and American ease.
